The nonprofit is committed to providing resources and shelter to help at-risk families become self-sufficient. Founded in 1983, the multi-faceted nonprofit strives to empower homeless and at-risk families by providing them with re-homing services needed to avoid future episodes of homelessness.
Since the beginning of 2018, the nonprofit has served 1,076 individuals in 286 families. Last year, the nonprofit began providing a Permanent Supportive Housing Program, an initiative that serves families with physically or mentally disabled members.

Many of Bethany House Services’ programs extend to children to provide a multigenerational approach to poverty and homelessness. Other services provided to children include Stranger Danger, a program designed to reduce the high rates of abuse among economically disadvantaged children and Positive Parenting, an initiative that promotes strong bonds between a child and their parent.
