SEARHC and Xtend Create Revenue Cycle Joint Venture to Help Other Healthcare Providers
Denali Healthcare Solutions offers proven revenue cycle expertise
Juneau, AK – SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) and Xtend Healthcare, LLC (Xtend) today announced the formation of a new joint venture entity called Denali Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Denali).
Denali will be majority owned by SEARHC, a Tribal Health Organization (THO).
Denali will focus on providing services to THOs and other healthcare providers looking for financial and revenue cycle management (RCM) improvements.
“SEARHC remains fiscally sound, mission driven, and focused on innovation as we continue to transform the way we deliver care,” said Dan Harris, Chief Financial Officer, SEARHC. “We want to help other organizations experience the same success and revenue cycle transformation we have achieved. Since partnering with Xtend more than five years ago, we have improved our cash collections, lowered our cost to collect, managed through regulatory issues and improved coordination across our revenue cycle processes including health information management, billing, compliance and cash management. We have also improved our expertise in unique Tribal health services such as dental, long-term care and home care services, areas most other revenue cycle companies would not entertain. Moreover, these improvements have helped SEARHC deliver more services to the communities we serve, build a new hospital and update our clinics. We selected Xtend as our partner because of our longstanding and successful history with them. They bring deep industry knowledge in process, people and technology which will enable us to help others achieve similar results.”
“We are excited to expand our partnership with SEARHC by forming Denali and offering a broad set of critical services to healthcare organizations, especially Tribal Health Organizations,” said Mike Morris, President & CEO of Xtend. “Together, we offer proven expertise that enables healthcare organizations to focus on their first priority: serving their patients.”
