Reston woman receives Navient’s quarterly award
Jennifer Walker, senior vice president and chief audit officer, presented Wong with the quarterly award, which recognizes one employee who demonstrates one or more of Navient's core values: customer-centricity, proactivity, leadership, stability, integrity and innovation.
“I am amazed every day with the work that Allison produces, whether it be her top-notch audit work or superior data visualizations,” said Walker. “She is a fantastic leader and truly embraces our Navient value of innovation.”
Wong helped the company onboard new technology that uses data visualization to create different scenarios to highlight risk management considerations.
She says teamwork has been responsible for her success at Navient.
“Collaboration is key to getting work done,” said Wong. “Working with others, whether through conversations or healthy debates, gives you a better chance at reaching the optimal solution. It also gives you an opportunity to learn more about the business.”
