Navient launches military financial education module

WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 04, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Navient, the nation's leading loan management, servicing and asset recovery company, will mark Veterans Day with the launch of a new online course about military student loan repayment benefits. 

The module is available today and provides an overview of the various student loan benefits available to service members and veterans. These benefits include the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, Military No-Interest Accrual, Military Service and Post-Active Duty Deferment, the HEROES Act waiver, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

The self-paced interactive module also includes helpful scenarios, illustrations, and a checklist for managing student loan debt during military service. As with all modules in Navient's Path to Success series, this new module is available to the public free of charge.
