Navient Employees Honor Nation's Military In Veterans Day Parade

NEW YORK, Nov. 11, 2014-Navient, the nation's leading loan management, servicing and asset recovery company, today joined other employers of the 100,000 Jobs Mission to honor military veterans. Employees participated in the 1.3-mile march up Fifth Avenue during "America's Parade," the annual Veterans Day Parade in New York City.

The parade honors all eras and branches of service, with the U.S. Marine Corps as this year's featured service branch.  

An estimated 600,000 spectators attended the parade, which is organized by the United War Veterans Council.

Navient is a member of the 100,000 Jobs Mission, a coalition of major corporate employers committed to hiring military veterans. The 178 member companies have now pledged to hire 200,000 veterans by 2020. They hired 190,046 veterans through the third quarter of 2014.
